La Rosa Dulce Con Café

Rosa works with over 2500 employees at the famous dulceria in Jalesco. Often she is teased for her name and asked if she is a member of the famous candy-making family (she is not). During her off hours, she designs and sews mixed-media garments inspired by traditional clothing from Guadalajara and less frequently, Oaxaca.
Richetts and Bridge used fused glass, textiles and pounded metal coffee pods to create La Rosa. Their collaboration process began with the belief that together, they could melt the silo into which artists so often find themselves, and produce more beauty, more joy, more delight.
