The Power Of Three by LaRetta Small, Christina Rosenthal and Sierra Zounes

This is a Collaboration with another Artist and a Poet. Inspiration was the poem about a woman finding her path and foraging her own Arrow. We used the silhouette of the Poet in a Tai Chi pose and used a line from one of her poems in the design. This is a mixed media work using paint, hand painted papers, collage and stencils. I worked on the painting initially establishing the design then handed it to the artist partner for the silhouette and mark making. I put the finishing touches of the poem on the canvas. The title comes from the collaborative effort of three strong women from three different generations and three different life experiences.
